Well I just got a new camera so my poor kids had to take several pictures tonight to try it out and see how we liked it.

Lexi is looking at Grandma and Grandpa Swanson's picture. She is missing them while they are on their cruise!!

We made Hunter sit with the two girls. He looks like he is gonna get them both in a head lock.

Kids

My two little hams. I made them sit and get a quick picture before bed tonight! Hunter didn't want to sit next to Lexi, he wanted to wrestle with her. Right after this picture he had her in a headlock and she was yelling at him. I should have taken a picture of that.

Aunt Erin decided to put Lexi's wall decorations on her (they are actually made to play with but I was going to decorate with them) and she was the cutest butterfly I have ever seen.

Were In!

Well we are finally in our new home! We are slowly moving the little stuff from the old house still, I want to go throught it and toss most of the stuff we didn't use or don't need anymore. Here are some of the pics.

This is the family/game room downstairs. Pretty much this is Dirk's area. We gave the sectional couch/tv then behind that is the pool table and he will put the dart board up. We were going to paint the walls but have decided this fall to put drywall up, it will keep the heat in better.


This is our entry from the front door. Dirk told me it looks like Cheryl's house, which it does.

This is the living room. I love the fireplace.


Our dining room. We haven't moved the roll of padding from the corner yet because Tabby scratches on it! She is getting declawed this week because she clawed and tore up the carpet in the basement of the old house. I really don't want to have to hurt her if she ruins this carpet.

Kitchen, it is never ending I feel like I have unpacked boxes forever. We are still working on finding a place for everything, I hate the clutter on the counters while this process is being done. I love that we all eat at the island for dinner as a family!

Lexi's room. She loves that she doesn't have to share with her brother anymore. She has been going in there to play and shutting the door.

Update

Well I thought I would update you all on how the house is coming.. we have all the carpet in the whole house done finally!! Dirk and some of the guys have been moving stuff in little by little this week. We are hoping to spend our first night in the house on Friday!! As soon as we get settled I will take some pictures and post them for everyone.
