Fathers Day at the lake

For Fathers Day we met Papa out at Oak Run for some family fishing. This was Hunter and Lexi's first fishing trip so we were very excited. They each had their own fishing pole and were very cute!
Papa helping Lexi with her fishing pole. She kept leaning and tipping out of the chair just for fun.
Papa helping Hunter reel in a fish. Hunter would touch the fish but didn't do great when Papa tried to show him how to put his finger in the mouth and hold it. He really didn't know what to think about that.

Hunter and Daddy fishing. I love this picture!

New Playset

Dirk finally got most of the playset up, we just have to get the wooden roof put together and then we are done! The kids love it. Lexi is still a little too small for most of it but she trys to keep up with her Bubba.
The playset (no it's not crooked I just took the picture crooked and didn't photoshop it yet).
He is such a monkey on this thing

He climbed the rockwall with flip-flops on in like 2 seconds!

My future gymnast! She could barely reach them and that is about all she did with them was hang onto them. She thought she was hot stuff though.

Loving the swing with her crazy hair! At one point she laid her head down and I thought she was going to fall asleep.

Hunter loving to go high in the swing! He has such a little butt we had to leave this swing on it instead of the big swing. He couldn't stay on it.

Playing on Emma's new Playset

Hunter and Lexi got a new playset for their birthdays. Daddy hasn't gotten it up yet so we went to visit Emma and play on her new one.
Lexi loved the house part.
Hunter helping Emma

again she loved the house!
Emma goes down the slide all by herself. By the end of the visit Lexi was doing a great job by herself too.

Watering the yard

We have planted trees and our garden. The kids love to help water it all!
poor cucumber plant is drowned in water. what a good helper
Lexi was a good helper too but she only wanted to put water on this one plant.

Lexi

Lexi was reading her book when I checked on her in her bedroom. It was the cutest thing ever.
She loves her butterfly wings

The Lake

We went to the Lake Friday night and the kids had fun playing with Maverick and Izzy. Of course they drove Brad nuts when they kept messing with his little tree! Below are some of the pictures I got..finally got to play more with the new camera!
Hunter posing by the lake for me.
Lexi sitting in the chair and giving me this look like..mom not another picture.

Lexi loved Brad and Mel's bear and angel. She kept calling the angel "baby".

The Geese..I love the baby ones. Hunter kept trying to sneak up on them when they were on land because he wanted to pet them..they did not like that and fled to the water.

More Geese
Izzy posing for me in the grass..she is so cute.

Maverick then wanted his picture taken, he sat down and said cheese.

Hunter's 4th Birthday

We had a small get toghether to celebrate Hunter's 4th Birthday on Saturday. My sister helped me decorate rice crispy treat Spiderman Heads. They actually turned out pretty cute (I was worried when I started to make them).

the finished product...they acutally turned out like spiderman
Aunt Tina and Uncle Ryan got Hunter a tool set with the hat and belt..he loved it and wants to work all the time now.

Lexi and Aubrie

Ok I wanted to post these because I know Aubrie has the same jammies and I think her and Lexi look kinda alike in these pictures. You can tell they are related. If you look at Emily's blog she has one of Aubrie on it with the same jammie..check it out.

Park Visit

Hunter and I decided to stop at the park in Oneida on our way home last night. We got to spend some Mommy and Me time alone because Dirk had Lexi. He loved it and he even let me get some pictures with my phone. Sorry they are not that great and they look crooked to me.
What a ham!!
He was still too little to do this himself so Mommy had to help several times.

He thought the bridge was pretty cool.
loved the slide too
His butt is still too little for the swing but he liked for me to push him high, although he kept stopping with his feet and it drove me nuts.

Papa's Birthday

It was Papa's birthday last week so we had dinner at his house. Since he never tells us what he wants the kids got him flowers for his flower pots outside. They even helped plant them. Here are some random pictures.
Lexi kept trying to get into the car.
