We finally have walls for the basement. I wasn't as brave as Dirk and Carl. They walked around on the walls. It was too high for me.
Dirk and Brian had to haul wheelbarrows full of gravel to put around the foundation. Look at all that mud! What a mess.
We have a hole dug! Finally some work is getting done.

Nici - isn't it a relief to see some progress getting done on your house?! This is so fun that we get to do this together and share our progress, ups and downs. And what a dream come true - at least it is for me! Can't wait to see more...
You think there's mud now just wait...I was just talking to Grandma about that today. You'll need to put down sod or seed.
