Dirk finally got to go hunting and he got a deer today! He came home so the kids could see it. Hunter of course loved it and had to go with daddy to the processor in Genesio. I tried not to get anything bad in the photos. The kids were not scared of the deer. They had to touch it so of course when we came inside there was hand washing and sanatizing.

Congrats on the deer. I wish I could convince my husband to hunt back home. Maybe one day. The funny thing is that I don't ever remember knowing anyone who hunted when I lived there, and everyone who lives here, that is what they do, people here eat, sleep and breath it. Such different worlds.
