Happy Valentines Day

The cookies we made for Gretchen's house.

Hunter and Lexi helping me decorate the cookies.  Of course these were there cookies.  They kept licking the frosting and touching the cookies so they didn't get to do the ones for daycare.

Hunter made his first Valentines Day box for school!  It is a lego.

Fun in the Snow!

The kids wanted to play in the snow this weekend so we decided to let them before it all melts.  I of course realized I don't have snow boots so I took pictures while Daddy played with them.

Bundled up and ready to go

Daddy, Hunter, and Lexi

Lexi kept yelling for Daddy to help her.  She said " I'm just a peanut I'm too small to walk in the deep snow".  They also tried making a snowman but the snow was just too wet and it didn't work well.

Dirk tried pulling them with the four wheeler while they were on the sled (slow speed of course).  The snow was too deep so it didn't really work.

Daddy dug them a tunnel!  They loved it and had such a good time playing with Dirk.

Winter Storm 2011

The winter storm we just had was crazy!  Hunter of course loved it because he hasn't had school for 3 days! Lexi loved it because she has gotten to spend all day with her brother!   I loved it for taking pictures, although it was very hard to do with all the blowing snow & for getting a snow day with my babies!  Dirk hated it because he was the one to clean up all the snow!  I thought I would share some of the pictures with you.

Hunter helping dad before the snow really hit on Tuesday evening.

Our 4-wheeler plow wouldn't work on all that snow so Dirk had to walk down to the shed and get the tractor out!
My view as I was standing in the garage
Dirk and Hunter heading to Grandpa & Grandma Swanson's house to clean out their driveway!  Hunter gave up after so long because he was cold and went inside with Grandma.

Dirk then went and did Ryan & Tina's driveway.  The gas station in Altona even paid him to do their lot!  Then he went and did Aunt Margaret's house.  He also cleaned out the shop and shed lots.  He was exhausted when he came inside.  I did feel awful because Hunter and I played the Wii, and then Lexi and I played babies...all while he was freezing.

The Bears playoff game

Well it wasn't a great day for Bears Fans but we did get a proposal out of it!

The group of us

Jon just got down on his knee and start to propose. (Tammy is in shock)
Jon's reaction is he is waiting for the answer and she is yelling YES!

The kids in all their Bears gear.  Like all kids none of them looked at the same time!
