more ice fishing

It was so nice on Saturday that we decided to go fishing again on Sunday.  This time we brought Stacy along since she had never done it before.  She had fun!  Lexi of course caught most of the fish.

Ice Fishing with Papa

We finally got to go ice fishing this year.  It was such a great warm day being around 50 degrees.  The kids loved it and we caught plenty of fish.  Great time spend with Papa.

Jumpin J's 2016 Meet "Mardi Gras"

Such a great meet this year again!!  To start Lexi was very nervous about her new front pass.  Especially because she got a zero on her front pass at the last meet because she didn't get over.  Her confidence was a little shaken to say the least.  But she got out of her own head and got 1st place.  She also won highest score for the Advanced beginner level (which she wasn't expecting), and highest scorer for Jumpin J's.  The girls had so much support there!  Aunt Erin, Kelsey, and Kamden.  Alicia, Stacey, and Dalton who chose to skip a birthday party because he wanted to support Lexi.  Just love that boy!! Grandma Rebecca, Papa, and Great Grandpa and Grandma Scott.  

I will note that Daddy and Hunter couldn't watch her meet because Hunter had a basketball game in Woodhull at the same time.  You know Dirk so I wasn't going to get pictures LOL.  Hunter did great playing Dirk said.  He scored points and they won.  Undefeated still so far this year!!  Super proud of both my kids.

Since last season we decided if she gets first then we would get her a tshirt from that meet.  To get her one every meet would be a little excessive.  So we had this put on her shirt this time.  She may not get highest advanced beginner score again so it is a big deal to her.

The day before the meet we had to get the equipment taken apart, new pads put on it, and moved to the Knoxville gym for our Jumpin J's meet.

Lexi loved the weaving loom she got from Alicia for Christmas.  She worked on this throughout most of this day.  Tabby decided to help out some LOL.

Bestie Christmas

 We had a "family" Christmas party with us girls and our families.  It was so much fun and can't wait to do it every year!  We had a gread dinner with ham, chicken, and the fixins.  Lots of snack food too.  After dinner we did presents which the kids loved, and then played dice for money.  What a great night!!!  Us girls drew names and filled a pair of christmas socks/sock slippers with fun stuff and gave to each other.  I'm just so greatful to have these 2 amazing friends in my life!!
