Peanut and Snowball

Peanut loves Snowball to pieces!!  I came home one day to find her playing with her best friend on the bed.  This has got to be the snuggliest bunny ever!!  She loves to cuddle up in my neck when holding her and I love it.  She never bites and always stays right on her blanket when playing in the livingroom.

Canton Meet

Lexi had her 3rd tumbling meet in Canton this past weekend.  Her and Emma got 3rd place and we couldn't be prouder.  It was the biggest meet so far with 4 groups of 7yr olds.  All of the Jumpin J's did a great job!

WalMart Angel Tree

This year I had Lexi pick an angel off of the tree at Walmart.  She was so excited to pick out the stuff on the list.  We picked a 4yr old girl.  Afterwards we had a talk about some kids being less fortunate and that it is always good to help when you can.  Good life lesson and the smile on her face was priceless.

Another Winter Program 2014

This year our winter programs were actually winter songs :)  Hunter's program was "Frozen" which I loved.  I only got a picture of Peanut because Hunter hardly lets me take his picture anymore :(

New Flooring

We finally got the wood laminate flooring and started putting it in.  We spend the whole Thanksgiving weekend getting this done...just so I could put up the tree LOL.  Scott was a great help to Dirk and we couldn't have done it without him!!
It looks great!!

Thanksgiving 2014

Thanksgiving with the Johnson Clan.  I love getting together with these girls.  The kids play so well together and just make us laugh the whole time.  This year Addysen & Lexi put on a tumbling show for us.

Rock Island Meet

Our 2nd tumbling meet was in Rock Island.  We had a fun time at the meet.  Lexi likes staying after she is done to root on her cousin Addysen.  After the meet we went and ate lunch with the Link girls at Steak n Shake.  Such a fun day!!

Hunter's Indian Project

Hunter had a Social Studies project in which he had to pick a tribe and do a diorama.  He choose the Iroquois tribe.  We had so much fun making this.  Of course I had to help do most of it because I didn't want him to get burned on the hot glue gun.  We even got daddy involved by having him carve a canoe.  He even made wooden paddles.  Such a good dad :)  Needless to say he got an A+ for the diorama and his verbal part of the project.

Hunting with Mommy

I started hunting last year and I love doing it.  Still haven't gotten a deer yet :(   The kids love to go and sit with me and I love the time we get to spend together making memories.  This year Lexi has went with me more because Hunter goes with Dirk.

Painting Party

We organized our own private painting party.  It was so much fun and everyone really seemed to enjoy themselves.  What could be better than drinks, food, friends/family, and painting LOL.  What a bunch of budding artists :)

Hunter's eye

Poor Hunter woke up one morning with what looked like broken blood vessels in his eye.  Really there is nothing you can do for them so I let it go.  The next night I noticed more blood in his eye and it looked kinda gross.  So off to the eye doctor we went to make sure nothing major was wrong.  Like Dirk said "you only get 1 set of eyes".  Eye doctor confirmed what we thought and nothing major was going on.  So glad to hear.  Of course we are a weird family and we make an eye appointment even fun to attend LOL.
