Abingdon Meet

This past weekend we had the Abingdon tumbling meet.  Lexi did amazing!!  She had her highest scores yet to total 39.4    She got a 9.8 and 9.9 for both passes.

She ended up getting 2nd place because the girl that got first place scored a 10 for one of her passes.  She had so much fun and is looking forward to her next meet in Monmouth in a couple of weeks.  She finally moved up from third place and we couldn't be prouder of her hard work.

Vasco Da Gama

Hunter had a social studies project on Vasco Da Gama.  It was a pretty easy project.  Mostly googling pictures and typing what had to be on the poster board.  He then practiced presenting it so he was ready for the class.  Of course the 4th grade boys are into pink so it had to be pink poster board :)

Bourbonnais Meet

Once again we went up the night before for this meet.  They had a later start time but it was almost a 3hr drive.  We didn't do anything special.  We let the girls swim in the pool then went to a nice dinner.  Lexi did great and got 3rd place.  We were so close to Chicago I wasn't sure what the competition would be like.

Popcorn

Peanut decided to cook her own popcorn.  Since of course she is too short to reach anything she improvised :)  I just love this lil girl and her creative mind.  She managed to get the package open and in the microwave.  I then took over since the bag was hot.

We finally had a low key Monday night.  Lexi had tumbling, we had dinner and there was no homework so we had free time.  They chose to play a game of pool.  We had so much fun and we hadn't done it in awhile.   I finally got a picture of Hunter!!  Yay
