Abingdon Meet 2016

Peanut got 1st place at the Abingdon meet.  Super proud of my lil girl.  She loves tumbling and loves doing it with her friends.  I have to say I get more nervous than she does on competition day LOL.  I loved the Star Wars theme :)  Lexi wouldn't take her picture with the Ewok :(

waiting for the awards.  The guy giving them out wasn't paying attention so Lexi grabbed hers and went up to the stand.  The announcer laughed and said "Lexi that made my day".  Gotta love the Peanut...we sure do!!

Mono / Strep Throat

Poor Hunter had a fever and puked Monday and Tuesday of this week.  He then went to school Wednesday but said his throat hurt so bad plus he just looked so tired and worn down.  Thursday my mom took him to the doctor in the am.  She took one look at him and said it looked like Mono.  Off to the lab they went.  Tests came back positive for Mono :(  Friday morning we got the call that his strep culture came back positive also...so off to town we went to get the meds.  He has since started feeling better with his throat because of the meds.  Due to the Mono he is out of school next week and no PE, Basketball, or recess for 2 weeks.  He is going to be one bored lil boy.  Can't wait for him to start feeling 100% again.  Hate when my kids are sick.

2 backflips in a row!! -- Video

I am super proud of Lexi.  After being spotted twice she finally did 2 backflips unspotted :)  She has been working on these and it makes her so happy to get something new acomplished.

Jane Goodall Project

Lexi did a project on Jane Goodall.  She had to made a pop bottle person and write up a Biography.  We both agreed that the it is a little creepy LOL.  She had fun helping me and I got to burn my fingers alot on the hot glue gun.

No School with Grandma Rebecca

No school so that means the kids were with Grandma Rebecca.  It was a nicer day so we made sure to send their snow clothes to enjoy some time outside.  Of course no picture of Hunter again...that boy.  I do have a picture of his snow angel.  Lexi and Grandma did an Olaf :)

Singing in Church

The sunday school class sang in church on Sunday.  Sure do have a bunch of cute kids :)

Sweet Valley High Game

As a child I loved the game Sweet Valley High.  I was lucky enough to find it cheap on Ebay and bought it for Lexi.  The girls loved playing this game so much!!  Nothing like board games from the 80's / 90's

Valentine day boxes

Happy Valentine's day!!  The kids and I made BB8 for their Valentines boxes.  They loved this but I learned I don't like paper mache LOL.

Grandma and Scott's new land

Mom and Scott bought some farm/timber near the club.  The kids were so excited to go see it and explore for awhile.  These two love to be outside and didn't want to leave.  So excited to see if we find mushrooms this year.  Grandma is going to make it a game :)

Hazel's Birthday Party

Hazel had her birthday party at the roller rink.  The kids had fun skating and watching Hazel open presents.  Such a special little girl and we love her.  Happy Birthday sweet Hazel :)  Hunter had basketball so he wasn't able to make it.
