Daisies Pinewood Derby 2014

It's that time of year again and Lexi was super excited for the derby.  This year she wanted to go for cuteness.  To make a fast car they usually don't look cute and she was not about to have that happen :)  She wanted a frozen theme.  Scotty did a great job cutting the sleigh out for us!  I think he was more excited because she won Best of Show last year and he wanted to repeat the title (he helped cut the car last year also).  Well together we did it and she got Best of Show again this year.  She was a good sport because I told her she may not get it someones may be cuter or the girls may like it better.  She told me "mom I don't care it is cute and we had fun making it".  Gotta love that girl!!
We also loved rooting on Emma because she went for a faster car.  She won two or three heats and we were so proud of her!!

Allergist Appointment

Lexi finally had her allergy appointment.  My poor Peanut was poked 49 times to see what she reacted to.  It broke my heart when she started to cry and I couldn't do anything about it.  She was a good trooper and I was so proud of her for being a big girl.  The results.... she is pretty much allergic to everything outside.  Trees, grass, weeds, molds, etc.  Right now she does nose spray and takes a pill daily.  We go back on August 8th for a follow up to see what is the next move.

for being such a big girl we went and got a new dwarf Hamster named Patches
We also went to lunch at Chuck E Cheese

Disney Day 4 - Hollywood Studios

I love all the characters you see at Hollywood Studios.  All the setups that look like studio back lots are fun to see.  The kids loved the Indiana Jones stunt show.  We had a great last day for out Disney Trip :)

It was so hot so the charecters took breaks.  We were first in line after their break so Phinneas came over and grabbed Lexi's hand.  She thought it was so fun!

We love Phinneas and Ferb

Dirk had to ride this alone.  Me and the kids were not getting on it!

We stood in line for at least an hour just to get his picture with Darth Vadar.

Hunter didn't want to get a picture with Princess Sophia
silly hats with Grandma

Hunter did the Jedi training and was nervous at first but once it got started he loved it.  I think it was such a hot day and it was later in the evening so that didn't help.

Day 3- Sea World

Sea World is one of my favorite places!!  The kids loved it too.  Again it was a hot day and of course one show was on one side of the park and then the next one was on the other side.  Lots of walking on a hot day.

watching the dolphins in the pool

again with the map LOL

dolphin show

they have a roller coaster and this is the test seat so we made Lexi sit in it for fun.  She had to stretch to get her head to show.

The pearls Lexi got from her clam.  She was so excited to make them into earrings :)

We ate at the underwater shark grill for lunch and the kids loved the sharks swimming next to them

By far my favorite part getting to feed and pet the dolphins together as a family!!  Once in a lifetime experience.
