Playtime

Both were having fun at playtime. Alexia loves her exersaucer! Hunter and I had just cleaned his room and although he has had the elmo chair forever it's like it was new to him, probably because he couldn't find it in all that mess. He wanted me to take his picture in it.

Such a ham!

Posing

Lexi was posing for the camera. I had just put the bow in her hair, which she hardley has any of, and she gave me this look. Too Cute!

Feeding Sissy!

Hunter wanted to help feed Lexi. She kept giving me this look like mom want kind of nonsense is this.

Holding Lexi

Hunter wanted to hold Lexi. First he wanted to sit in her bouncy seat, which he is way to big for! Then I took her to fix a bottle and as I was grabbing her he kept saying mine, mine. He didn't want to give her up. Then I put him in the chair and they were both out of the mood. He is such a good brother.

Toys!

Alexia loves her toys on the bouncy seat. She won't sit back in it she keeps leaning forward to play! That is of course when Hunter doesn't pull the toys off and tease her with them. She likes to play with her toes too. She always pulls them up to her and rolls to the side. Such a goof ball. She still needs to be bigger so she can sit up on her own. She is still only 11lbs. She's a runt.

Getting Along

Well now that the two of my children are getting healthy again they are back to playing with one another. Hunter spent a couple of days in the hospital because he had pneumonia. Lexi now has some kind of bronchial irratation. They both are taking breathing treatments daily and are getting better. Hunter loves playing with Alexia and the whole time he was sick she missed him. He has tried to pick her up lately and she just smiles the whole time. Hunter likes to get nose to nose with her and make noises and she laughs her butt off at him. Lexi still has her fear of public places. As you can see in the picture above she is just all smiles and laughs at home, but when we go out in public she cries the whole time. We went to Jimmy's the other night and she was fussy until we covered her head with a blanket and then she was fine and went to sleep. When people talk to her she starts to quiver her bottom lip, it is so cute how dramtic she is, such our little drama queen!

Playing with Emma!

Cousin Emma came over today and played. Hunter loved playing with both of the girls. He kept trying to pick both of them up. Emma liked playing with Hunter the most beause he kept entertaining her by being silly. Hunter likes to take their blankets and their bouncy seats away from them. He is such a trouble maker. The picture of the girls above is the first one I have thought that they looked a little alike. They seem to have the same color of hair, either light brown or dish water blonde.

Big Girl Now!

Today Alexia sat in her big girl chair. She is still a little too small for it but she thought she was hot stuff. Of course after she got out of the chair Hunter had to sit in it, he got stuck and needed help getting out of it. Last night we went to my aunt's house for new years. Hunter played with his 2 cousins and Alexia pretty much cried half the time. We came home around 11:00pm and Hunter was asleep before we got out of Knoxville. Dirk and I could barely make it to midnight, man we are getting old!!

Christmas Day

Christmas day was so much fun this year! Hunter woke up and said "whoa" at all the presents under the tree. As Dirk says he made out like a bandit this year again. Later Christmas day we went to Grandma and Grandpa Swanson's house. Aunt Erin and Kelsey were there also and we had present time and then brunch. They both got more than they needed. Grandma and Grandpa got Hunter the work bench above. Now he thinks everything in the house needs worked on.

Christmas Eve

Well Christmas Eve was very busy for us. We started with eating bruch at Papa Glens. Then we had to go to Great Grandma and Granpa Scott's house. Alexia got the duck from great grandma and grandpa and she loves it. It was covered in slobber by the time we left that night. We finally got home around 8:30pm and both the kids were not in great moods! This is why we didn't make it to Christmas Eve service at church. As you can see in the picture Hunter put out milk and cookies for Santa. What you don't see is that Hunter drank Santa's milk! He finally went to bed around 11:00pm. Good thing Santa works all night or he would have missed our house!
